Speerville???
Speerville...
The name conjurs up images of... well, nothing really. Up until a few weeks ago I'd never even heard of Speerville, NB (and neither had many students, judging by the blank stares I've received when I've told them where I'm going). Tomorrow at 6:30 am I'll be meeting Angeline, Nick, Emily and Erika - ABU's Export Marketing team - for a visit to Speerville Flour, a miller of organic grains.
As I told someone today, I've never been inside a flour mill, so this should be interesting. More interesting (I think) will be the team's reaction to the company facilities, its management, and guiding philosophy.
It should serve to be an interesting day.

hey Rob! You got on the bandwagon with fellow bloggers. Neato. :D
Well, there you go. The internet becomes a diary, a soapbox and a pulpit all at the same time. If the internet were a religion it would be Baptist (think about it).
But then there is the tyranny of having to regularly update the beast and confront the question if anyone is bothering to read it.
Catharsis is good though. And for really good catharsis you can charge admission. Welcome to the club
My favorite quote from "Oh Brother Where Art Thou"
"Come on in boys ... the water's fine"
Next time, you may want to take me there as well. I have not been to a flour mill, nor Speerville...
